David Dempsey was born in Odessa, Texas in 1966. He was raised and attended school in San Angelo, Texas. He began drawing and painting at the age of 13. David was privately tutored in different art techniques for nine years. David took art classes at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. In the early 90’s, David attended the Art Institute of Dallas. David’s career includes: Advertising for JCPenney’s (page layout and design), faux finishing, and fine painting. In 1995, David began a career in the video game industry. He is currently employed as Art Director in the video game industry.
David has an art studio in Lewisville, Texas. David is influenced by ads and pop art from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.
